Prof. Dr. Murat Zor

After completing his medical training at the Faculty of Military Medicine, Gülhane Military Medical Academy, he went on to specialise in urology at the same university. He worked as a urologist at Sarıkamış Military Hospital from 2010 to 2013 and at the Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital of the Gülhane Military Medical Faculty from 2013 to 2015. He subsequently continued his academic career as an assistant professor and associate professor in the Department of Urology at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy and at the Department of Urology, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences, between 2015 and 2022.

He currently works as a urologist at Liv Ulus Hospital and as a lecturer in the Department of Urology at Istanbul Health and Technology University. He has carried out research particularly in the fields of endoscopic laser prostate surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, uro-oncology, and urological stone disease. He currently provides advanced training in these surgical procedures and performs operations.

These procedures include, first and foremost, HoLEP and ThuFLEP prostate surgeries, en-bloc laser resection of bladder tumours, laparoscopic and robotic cancer surgeries, testicular tumour surgeries, and advanced stone surgeries such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
